Vision Statement- “To glorify God as we become like Christ through His discipleship.” Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.—John 15:8.
The best way in which we can glorify God is by becoming like Christ. The Bible says in Romans 8:29- “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son.” God’s plan has always been to make you like His Son, Jesus Christ. God wants all of his children to bear the family resemblance, which is most clearly seen in His Son. The highest perfection of God, and the deepest mystery of Godhead, is His holiness.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always.” Matthew 28:19-20

This young lad by name Yohanu (later called as Ravinder), was born in Nalgonda in a Christian family as an answer to his mother's prayers. Standing up to her promise, she dedicated him for the Lord's ministry. The child grew up to be notoriously active in his neighbourhood, least aware of the predeposited gifts of the Lord that were to operate through him. As he grew up, one would often find him withdrawing himself from his circles to be locked up in a room with a keyboard for hours together. Growing in the school of the Spirit, he found himself pulled towards the call of the Lord upon his life from his early years. Following his graduation, Ravinder left the suburbs and moved to Hyderabad to offer his service to the Lord with few Christian ministries.
It was indeed God who trained him in all those years to completely trust and obey His leading. Seven years after his stepping into his Father's ministry, he had a supernatural encounter with Him. He clearly heard the Voice of God calling out to him saying "My Dear Son..." and revealing His plan for Bro. Ravinder to start a ministry in Nalgonda to lead the hearts of the people to reconcile with their Creator, thus naming his ministry as "SONS' MINISTRIES".
Humbly obeying HIS call, Bro. Ravinder began His Father's work with a focus on raising disciples through teaching and training. Then birthed out of God's clear direction was- "The disciple church" in the year 2012. Under God's abundant faithfulness, today scores of souls turning in here receive the revival and are edified through the revelation of the Holy Spirit.
The primary purpose of this church is to direct people to choose to live a life of a Son of the Most High over the life of a believer; calling them for their pre-occupancies to catch up with His authority.

Our senior pastor Bro.Ravinder's heart is for the people to see and taste the fullness of the Father in their lives as they thirst for Him. His desire is to lift them up unto the calling of the Son from their routine thresholds.
A Son knows and does the Father's heart, His works, His ways. What the Father does is made known to His Son but nothing is hidden from Him. More importantly, the Son is now enthroned at the right hand of the Father, at whose feet every tongue, every knee has to bow. In Christ, we are expected to live a life no lesser than this during our earthly stay and Bro. Ravinder's passion is to see this age and the coming ones living upto this call without any compromise.
His passionate collection of songs, echoes a journey of intimate relation with God, been through brokenness and joy at once, glorifying God in every note he plays, every word he preaches. His sermons preached with an unquenchable fire of God, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, have edified the lives of countless people to renew their relationship with God. He has been travelling widely, spreading the message of Revival, through music and preaching over the last few years in churches and at conferences. He has been discipling and training the young adults and together SONS' Ministries is reaching out to the unreached among the downtrodden in the untouched parts of the nation.
Responding to the call of the Lord in 2017, Sis. Shruti obeyed the direction of the Lord in being given to marriage to Pas. Ravinder Vottepu. Withdrawing herself from a customary Christian life-style, she stepped into the ministry with Pas. Ravinder Vottepu, being equally yoked with him, taking forward the mission that Lord laid upon the Sons’.
Sis. Shruti hails from Bangalore, Karnataka; brought up in a God-fearing family with her parents being faithful ministers of the Lord in their calling. Never anticipating to be called as a laborer in His harvest, she focused to be an entrepreneur at a young age and was pursuing her career in it; she had just finished her graduation in Bachelor of Technology and was working with a public sector company when she realized that the Lord had a ministerial call upon her.
Her quest for the Lord began in her early teens when she started listening to two entirely different voices at once. She claims that one would depress her and the other would strengthen her. Her experience with the unseen world went to a deeper extent when she started ceding to the negative voices, pulling herself to succumb to the deadliest thoughts of the enemy. The devil had his play on her, yielding her to depression, rejection, and over time complete ruination if not been rescued in His love. It was all a battlefield in the mind, a huge struggle for truth, which was seldom noticed in natural, she recalls. In this journey of discerning between the voices, she spent her early years in searching the scriptures, seeking for His anointing to know the voice of her Lord over the devil. Growing in the school of the Spirit, she learned to gradually listen to the still small voice, which had a perfect solution for every arrow of the devil set to condemn her. Little did she realize that it was all to prepare her for the huge responsibility awaiting her on the other side of her life; having been through hell and back, it’s her utmost desire to expose the devil and his tactics which are binding many young and old, even today. Passionate to serve the Lord in the given platform, she is in her mission of taking the truth of scriptures into the practical realm, there-by leading us to freedom of the Lord. Today, Pas. Ravinder Vottepu and Sis. Shruti Penumaka Vottepu are leading the Sons’ Ministries as directed by the Lord; they are blessed with a baby girl, Sera Christeen Vottepu (three years old) and a baby boy, Joash Hanok Vottepu (six months old); and along with their extended family, they continue to be a blessing to many.
Ever since our Pastor stepped into the ministerial calling of the Lord, it was his earnest desire to raise an anointed set of worshippers, who would purely dedicate themselves to worship the Lord in Spirit and truth, forming as a band to glorify the name of the Lord uncompromisingly. And certainly, it didn’t come into existence overnight. After Lord’s amazing direction, He gathered our dear band members from across the borders, to join with us at Sons’, humbly submitting to the training of the Lord, growing in wisdom, understanding and sensitivity of Holy Spirit God. We at Sons’ deeply believe that a gifted person can rightly glorify God only when he/she learns to subject to the anointing of the Lord at first. Just as a skilled person without a love for God cannot contribute much to His kingdom; we believed, our otherwise talented band, could not achieve big for the Lord, until and unless they learn to pour themselves in and out at the feet of the Lord. Yes, it took years of pruning, crushing, and suffering in His presence to realize their growing desire to continually lift up an aroma of praise and worship, acceptable before the Lord.
Over the years of training, these dear children have grown under the anointing of their leaders, learning to stand in the thick and thin; now operating in the same gift that the Lord has bestowed upon our Pastor. Each of them is an amazing songwriter, instrument player, worshipping the Lord equally well as our dear Pas. Ravinder Vottepu. Lord in His abundant grace, fulfills His servant’s desire in raising the Sons’ Band, which is looking forward to bring a collection of anointed worship content for the Glory of His name forevermore.
